I really like the Eagle Mountain Saginaw Independent school district. I've been in the district since 8th grade. I've attened one of the middle schools and 2 of the high schools. I have enjoyed my time at all three schools. I have had some wonderful teachers and have made some really great friends. I have learned so much and have grown as a person and as a student. I've had so many amazing oppurtunites within the school and community. I highly reccomand this district.

I think boswell is a good typical high school, but as the years went by more tragic things began to occur, Which is scary. The teachers at Bos were wonderful, all four years.

I would like to see more action on issues of racial, gender, religious, and sexuality discrimination that has taken place. Also, more concern for student safety rather than school attendance. Another concern is security. I feel as though they implement security in the wrong ways. It makes it less efficient to get to and from school. Locking all the doors so no one can leave or enter doesn't make me feel protected. Other than that, this district offers lots of opportunity for self growth and is very community-oriented.

I liked some of the teachers and the way they would teach, as well as the counselors. The school has good regulations. The passing periods are the time when hallways are the most crowded, this needs to be more organized. I like the opportunities I was given in getting ahead with my classes.

The environment is great, even when your are knew to the school as a freshman. Everyone is just so brought together whether its through football games, pep rallies, homecomings , cultural appreciation etc. Its makes you feel at home, as a freshman being new to CTHS and being extremely nervous about the school, then to becoming an incoming senior were you recognize CTHS as your second home. The teachers are the best, and are always willing to talk about anything, which is what i feel is important especially today with mental health and everything thats going on in the world.

I have attended EMS-ISD since kindergarten. Throughout my schooling, I have had caring, well-educated, nurturing teachers who take the time to help students become not only good students, but good people. I have always participated in dance while in school as well, and the sense of spirit and school pride is that of no other at EMS-ISD.

There's so many opportunities for student athletes and people who want to exceed academically. In middle school, I was your average C student who didn't take college and future careers seriously. I was never interested in sports and or clubs. Now, as a high school junior, I am president of a club, involved in 3 sports, and is on a dance team! I also have a great group of friends and huge support system by teachers and staff.

I love my area and school district but I would like to see some of the staff change and have some teachers that are more politically correct. I live in Texas so a lot of people in my small town aren’t very open and accepting.

barely any clubs, didnt take covid protocol seriously. many teachers and students passed away and no one was given the oppurtinity to grieve because of cruel administration. administration care more about what students are wearing more than their education. Teachers are under paid and students are failing.

My experience at EMSISD has been pretty good. I like the many courses and extracurricular activities they have as well as their well-kept school buildings. Some changes I would like to see for EMS ISD are more student consideration, balanced workloads for counselors so they aren't too overwhelmed to help students, and more information regarding college, course options, scholarships, and credits.

I loved being in the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District. I made so many friends and memories while I was there. My best memories are from being on the drumline at my high school. I put in so much work to be my best for the drumline because I wanted it. The drumline would practice roughly 40 hours a week. It was full time job but we all loved being there. We put in more work than our football team. We got to travel to competitions almost every weekend and at the end of the season we would go to Dayton Ohio for world championships. My time in the drumline was cut short due to COVID-19 and we unfortunately were unable to travel to dayton my senior year. At our last competition we had that year we were ranked 2nd in the nation and had a real shot at winning the whole thing. I am beyond proud of my accomplishments in the drumline and so thankful for EMSISD for giving me the opportunity to be a part of that group.

We're no strangers to love
You know the rules and so do I
A full commitment's what I'm thinking of
You wouldn't get this from any other guy
[Pre-Chorus]
I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling
Gotta make you understand
[Chorus]
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
[Verse 2]
We've known each other for so long
Your heart's been aching, but you're too shy to say it
Inside, we both know what's been going on
We know the game, and we're gonna play it
[Pre-Chorus]
And if you ask me how I'm feeling
Don't tell me you're too blind to see
[Chorus]
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you
Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around and desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye

I had some pretty good times in this district, but my favorite memories are from my freshman year. I appreciate how compassionate and helpful everybody in this school district isIn one of my classes, I remember giving my first presentation. I didn't want to do it at first, but I eventually did, and it was the best moment of my life. I was nervous about giving a presentation, but once I did, I felt great about the commitment I put in. Now, I am a sophomore, and I know that I can accomplish everything I set my mind to. And that is because of my school's supportive teachers and environment that keeps my mindset so positive and keeps me going. I enjoy being a part of this school district because everybody is so respectful to one another. I like going to school every day, and there isn't a single day that I don't want to go. I love how all of the teachers provide a supportive environment for the students in order to keep us motivated and succeed.

It is a very positive and great area. Teachers that I've seen were nice and when doing competitions and other extracurricular activities, the staff was always great. The schools have great athletics programs along with just as amazing art and music programs. EMSISD made me feel safe and comfortable.

I first came to Eagle Mountain-Saginaw 7 years ago and enrolled in Ed Willkie Middle School. From the start I was welcomed with open arms and the teachers and staff made sure to accommodate me. They introduced me to students in classes and in lunch to sit with so I wouldn't feel out of place. The teachers were always available to help with any questions or concerns I had and the material was very easy to process and learn. The sports atmosphere was the best at school since it always held pep rallies supporting every team that was competing. The tennis team which I was a part of was undefeated for 2 to 3 seasons and our attitude and sportsmanship on the court was always cordial and on good behavior at all times. There wasn't many incidents of unruly kids at Ed Willkie and most of them followed the rules and guidelines to stay out of trouble. For Ed Willkie being the first Middle School I enrolled in when first moving to the United States it set me on the right path to success.

Going to a high school at eagle mountain - Saginaw has been a great experience the councilor are great they will help you any time you have question on something you are confused on. The school has great school spirt when it comes to homecoming they will have dress up days that the whole school can dress up and take pictures with their friends. They have so many clubs that you can join so you can have something fun to do afterschool if you wanted to and its a great why to find volunteer hours. The teachers make sure that you understand what you are learning in the class room and thy will make time for you either before school or after school to help you on an assignment or on a project that you don't understand. going to a school here they have great opportunities for what you would like to major in, the classes that they have will help you gain more knowledge in what you would like to major in some examples can be such as wanting to be in the medical field would have a class of it.

I have been in this district since late elementary and overall it is very good. I would say, however, there are some schools that are not diverse. I understand the schools cannot really do much about that but it is strange when other schools are diverse and some are not. When taking AP classes I do not feel prepared via the teachers teachings half of the time. I have made many friends, few of which I am going to college with and I am thankful for that.
